It’s hard to depict the pros and cons of this Marucci Cat 7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (MCBC7) because it does have a bunch of new features that we aren’t used to seeing included in baseball bats available in the open market for us, even for the Marucci BBCOR baseball bats. Like I said earlier, it really depends on your preferences and different skills.
As a batter, personal strengths are always to be considered, such as:
- Accuracy of your hit– if accuracy is a little bit of a problem for you, this is a bat you might like to consider since it’s one of the top Marucci bats and has the large sweet spot
- Swing speed– this is something that can be improved if you’re a bit slow because this bat is lightweight and has a great balance to it which also obviously helps if you tend to lose your balance on a swing.
- Grip strength– your grip strength will have to be well developed to use this bat unless you’re willing to grab an extra grip accessory.
